![]() ![]() I normally have a lot of vassals either split of from myself to keep planet count below 10 or convinced neighbours by diplomacy. In case of slot 6 it's depending on the game situation. But i was surprised how much fun i actually had with mercenaries and so Lord of war took that place pretty fast. Teachers of the Shroud origin is of course my default start from now on. Most of the time xeno comp since Overlord)īefore Overlord hits i thought many times what to take instead of mind over matter because if possible i will always psionically ascend (for style and espionage reasons). NEW Shared Destiny - if i have more vassalsġ) One Vision (Unity is really important actually and i will soon have many many species in my empire so i need ethics attraction)Ģ) Technological Ascendancy (or Ascension path 1 if Materialist (rare))Ĥ) Lord of war (i really like mercs and especially the diplo weight)Ħ) Master Builders / Defender of the Galaxy / Shared Destiny (this is kinda my flex slot depending on the situation)Ĩ) Xeno Compatibility / World shaper (depends on Planet count. Generally +10% resources, better planet size, and happiness for any pop type sounds good. World Shaper - if for some reason no taking Synthetic Evolution. Might get relict world from digsiteħth Colosus - for total war casus belli for that one empie wchich will not kneel Megastructures are cool and need to dump influence somewhere.Ħth arcology - for superior alloy production. I take this if it is militaristic empire, so there is more wars than usual.ģrd and 4th - Ascension path, probably Synthetic as it provides best pop growth and best output.ĥth - Galactic Wonders. Yes it depends, everyone has a playstle, but in the end, some perks are choosen more often than others.Įmpire type: some form of militaristic authoritarianġst Technology Supremacy - pick early, get profit over time, extra bonus of rare technologies for fun factor.Ģnd Nihilistic Acqusition - generally if there is a war there is a limit how much i can conquere in one go, and since enemey fleet is broken might as well soak enemy pops. Competing for this tree will provide two more modification points and allow players to research Transgenesis technologies. It will also let them unlock assimilation into or out of Hive Mind and add additional genetic modification points and organic species trait picks. Unlocking further branches of this tree will enable players to remove positive traits and add negative ones to pops, increase the rate of monthly pop assembly with clone vats, and decrease the society research cost of modifying pops. Adopting this tradition will unlock the clone vats building and provide two genetic modification points. These traditions can only be gained by first picking the Engineered Evolution ascension perk, which itself is only available for organic pops after researching Gene Tailoring tech. This is done to make the player's people live longer, be stronger and smarter, and more. ![]() Genetic traditions are meant to improve an empire's leaders and pops through genetic modification. Once this tree has been completed, it will permanently increase the player's diplomatic weight and unlock Political traditions resolutions that they can then choose to propose. Others include temporarily increasing the player's own diplomatic weight when another empire's resolution passes and reducing the cooldown rate for both vetoing and enacting Emergency Measures. The next branches include making the player's empire gain a favor over another when their resolution passes with the player's support, the player gaining 18 times their monthly Unity when their own resolution passes, and reducing Influence costs to both proposing and vetoing resolutions. Once adopted, this tradition will let empires have an additional envoy, and any envoys assigned to the Community will produce 0.1 monthly Influence. While it has similarities to the Diplomacy tree, Politics is almost completely centered on bending the Galactic Community to the player's whims. The Politics traditions are focused on increasing an empire's power when it comes to dealing with the Galactic Community, though it can only be chosen once said Community is unlocked. ![]()
